Principal's Message

Hello and welcome to our website. My name is Ken Hickling and I started here at Lismore Heights Public School in July 2006. Our school is a medium-sized friendly school located between Lismore city centre and the suburb of Goonellabah. It is also very close to Southern Cross University. Our school has beautifully presented, spacious grounds and all classrooms and the library are air-conditioned.

Our school has a proud tradition of providing a stimulating, safe and happy learning environment for our students and community. Students experience a range of learning programs both within and beyond the classroom.

Student Safety and Wellbeing is a priority at our school and all staff have an expectation that all students will achieve their best in every aspect of their learning. Our staff are committed to quality teaching and learning and participate in ongoing Professional Learning to ensure they stay abreast with current accepted practice.

A statement of our school’s purpose is as follows:
