Library News

Students may borrow from our school library each week in their scheduled library lesson. The library is also open at lunch time on Monday, Tuesday and Friday during which time books can be returned and borrowed.

Kindergarten may borrow one book for one week and all other year groups may borrow two books for two weeks.

Each student will need a re usable library bag (not plastic supermarket bags), in order to borrow books to take home from our school library. The library will not give a plastic bag to children who do not have a bag with them for library books.

Library Bags

Please remind children to bring library bags for home borrowing from the library. They really help to protect our books and keep them safe.


2010 Premier's Reading Challenge

 All students enter the NSW Premier's Reading Challenge, working toward receiving a certificate at the end of the year for their reading efforts.

 This program encourages children to read quality literature from a prescribed list, by rewarding their efforts when the target number of titles has been achieved for their reading level.
